About Us
Our life vision is very simple. To know and love God, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit. To walk in the Holy Spirit. To love the Word and be as the Berean's were in discovering the truth of the scriptures. To live truthfully and according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To have biblical and relational fellowship. To make God honoring disciples. To be rich in faith and make others rich in faith in Jesus Christ.
Ministry Training
Both my wife, Jessie, and I have had formal Bible College training and I have also completed one year of ministry training and internship. I also have a discipleship background with the Navigators and other ministries. I have experience as a small group facilitator and home cell group leader. God is faithful and we love that the word is full of discoveries and life applications just waiting to energize Christians into Christ-like living. It is our desire to be students of the Bible for the rest of our lives and share God's richness with others. In taking on this faith work, we are following God's plan for our lives to fulfill His will. Currently, I am prayerfully seeking direction in earning non-denominational ministerial credentials. More importantly, I am working hard to establish a biblical perspective for this Bible ministry and lay a solid foundation for current and future ministry activity.
What Is The Passion Behind this Ministry?
It is important for believers to shine the light of Christ. We are not ashamed, even in today's culture, to hold the Bible as the standard and rule for our faith in Christ. We are compelled to influence the world through the gospel and the power of the truth revealed through scripture, so that those who would turn to Christ and His offer of salvation may do so. Every major worldview in today's world opposes the Bible and God's plan for man, rallying to diminish our influence in the public mindset. We are passionate about giving people the perspective found in Christianity, and spreading the truth of scripture through devotions, audio mp3, video, and sermon topics. We will do so until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Why Is This Ministry Important?
Focus on Christ Ministries exists to promote a Christian worldview. What every Christian does for Christ matters, no matter how great or small the effort. It is time for every believer to seek God for boldness to proclaim Christ and biblical living. We must keep our faith in Christ on the forefront of everything we do. And we must use every tool available to impact in our sphere of influence.
